FUCKING QUEEN BITCHES!
So, I was too drunk and out of time to update about this Thursday night/Friday morning.
BUT I SAW QUEEN IN CONCERT! It was so great. The second that "Tie your mother down" came on (it was the opening) I felt this incredible rush! Paul Rogers is by no means like Freddie Mercury... but he does have a great voice, and it complimented Brian and Roger's playing. John wasn't there. I'm kinda worried that I'm a bad Queen fan and didn't notice that something horrible happened to him. Made me feel bad for saying bad things about him. I didn't mean it T_T
Anyhow, Brian did a song for Mercury-sama and... my eyes welled up and two tears dripped down my face. They dried by the end of the song. I didn't want to wipe them away... I just couldnt' believe that the performance was that moving. Roger's drum solos were AMAZING! As were Brian's guitar solos.
The encore was great! They played all the fan favorite, We will rock you, and We are the champions. They had already played Bohemian Rhapsody at that point.
When the concert was over, Ling and I went to buy me the katakana queen jacket while Stanley and Siham went to find us an open resturant. I called Ojo so she could hear the Russian speaking loudly behind us, but it was no use.
We met up with Stanley and Co. and were soon given crappy service. But then these two nice guys, seeing my Fredie moustache, bought us a round of drinks. Then the karaoke 8 tried to get us to join them. So the 2 nice guys joined us, bought us another 2 or 3 rounds of drinks and even paid for our dinner! It was awsome. One of them even tried to bribe Stanley back to his place with paying her month's rent.
Anyhow, we got home drunk and didn't get to bed until like... 3 something...
