Today saw a large notice on the window of the burger joint, under a photo of a hamburger:
You Know You Want One!
Except there was a pillar obstructing the lat bit of the message, so it read:
You Know You Want On
(not a bad expression of our common desire for belonging)
and the person to the right of me, because of the pillar, only saw:
You Know You Want
(more a sort of aimless desire, still true though).
Others further to the left very likely saw:
You Know You
(self-knowledge is always a good thing),
and
You Know
(or at least some sort of knowledge)
and
You
(a bit self-centered, that one)
and
Yo
(the universal greeting)
and
Y
(the really important question)
and finally, the nihilists among us saw:
