soggy Valentine's day
Lots of big puddles on the road on my way home. I didn't manage to avoid them all. Especially a big one on Alewife Brook Parkway. I've come home in rain before, but I guess not during rush hour, so I haven't had to take that route when it's been so wet, and I didn't anticipate how much water there would be there.
I hope I didn't just kill my car. It starts, and runs okay for a little bit, but then it stalls out within a minute or two regardless of how much gas I give it. I managed to get home from that last puddle (less than half a mile), but it stalled out three or four times on the way.
My sidewalks and driveway are covered in snow and slush. I assume the guy who clears them is waiting for the precipitation to stop, or he did wait and is just getting started and hasn't gotten to me yet.
