I've posted a few photos from my four days in Indianapolis. To go to the album - and much larger photos than the one below - just click on the picture of frequent DCC contributor (and author of a forthcoming Eberron novel and a fellow Ravenloft fan)

For great commentary about what Gen Con is like, plus a couple of other photos, check out
Mike Ferguson's blog and scroll down to his "Diary of a Gen Con Newbie" entries - lots of fun, and he really captures the first-timer's experience. He also says really nice - and of course, completely accurate - things about me, which I appreciate and reciprocate. It was great to meet and chat with you, too, Mike! (What can I say? All of us DCC contributors actually like each other! Credit goes to Joseph and Harley for setting the tone.)
One more note: As you'll see, Rupert from Survivor was at the con, doing promotion for a new pirate RPG. Not surprisingly, he seemed like the nicest guy, chatting at length with people and saying in his gravelly voice, "Yeaaaah, don't hesitate to get in touch with me! I love to get EEEE-mail!!" I should've waited in line.
