Happy Mid-Autumn Festival~~

Come to the moment when people sit down and looking at the moon.
I don't know why it has so many name.

Mid-Autumn Festival = Moon cake Festival = Lantern Festival.

Still remember during primary school. Different teachers would use different name, so we met a problem in writing compositions. Some of them marked us wrong if we used one of the name.

I have never like Moon cake, as it's too sweet for me. Until now, I have not been eating any single piece of moon cake for 3~4 years I think. Nobody could force me to eat except my mom. Now even she gave up forcing me already. And I am not at hometown too...

But I simply enjoyed the atmosphere arose by this festival. Many teenagers at my age might have stopped playing with Lantern for a long time. But I still played. Even last year, I didn't do anything, but joined Sab, Terri and their house-mates to have a "Lantern Parade".
Each of us carried a Lantern hooked to a stick, walking around and looked at those big big houses owned by those rich people in Taman Connaught. Then we discussed, and ranked each house. We some more guessed about what's the background of the family and what might have happened among them. Probably there were some hidden not disposable stories.....Hehehehe...
And in coincidence, every time we were about to leave a big house, (big among big), one of our lanterns dropped and burned. So we guessed, the next morning, those owners of those big houses would have the same "burnt lantern mystery" .....LOL!!

For today, our school's Chinese Culture Society organises an event there, got some activities for us to take part. So we are going to join the crowd. And last week me and Catherine handed up a couplet (Chinese Calligraphy).
That's not a competition, but just for us to create our own couplet, started with "中 & 秋" or  "思 & 华" ...
This is taken by me earlier.

Just now, my Malay friends Faiz and Aisyah asked me, what's Moon cake festival celebrated for?
Urrmm.... I hope the crap story I created wasn't wrong, according to what I remembered.... Don't really remember exactly what the background is. If not mistaken, it should be something about, during the ancient war time, villagers were passing one kind of pastry from houses to houses. And they hid papers inside with messages on it, to tell the other what to do. And at last they defeated the enemies.....
Is it something like that ah????
Arghhh.... I felt so shameful when I couldn't really tell my other races friends about my traditional festival..... HAHAHAA....

Oh ya, just received my another birthday present from Catherine, Denise, Min Nah, Jean Wei, and Faiz.
Thanks yea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D
They told me I must use it immediately. But I still got one at home which was bought by my mom.
Don't know why, felt quite reluctant to change my wallet. I have been using the same one for 7 years. Don't feel like using a new one although it has torn out a bit.
As last time I just changed the wallet, to try out a new one (also another birthday present), only for a week, I lost my wallet !!!!! Perhaps that's another reason why I do not want to change. :P

The new one (R) and the one I am using (L)

Had Physics test just now, it's totally sucks!!! I am so going to be lectured by Mr Lim. Urrghhhh!!
