WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!
Finally i am free from books and notes and those piles of papers!!!!!!!

And finally the super damn hectic sem ended!! Muahahahahaha!!
I really need a good rest. Going back to hometown tomorrow! Didnt go back for  3 months already. ~Miss my family!! Well, i just need a good rest. Need to rest my brain, rest my mind. Maybe have to soak them into distilled water and rinse with soap water. Haha! Really tensed up my mind too much during the past few months... sigh....

It was so long since i last posted a good blog! Still owe many people blogs, that i promised to post. I would have time to do that!! :))

This afternoon, after the last paper, went for movies with Sab, Terri and YL.
Watched "200 pounds Beauty" first. It is a nice Korean comedy. But i found it quite touching!!
Especially when she confessed herself and her own identity during the concert !!
The songs she sang in the movie are nice!!!!!
SUPER NICE!!! I wanna find them.
HELP! Anybody know what's the title of the two songs? One is " XXX ...Maria" , another is a slow song.

It ended at around 7.00pm. They then decided to catch the 7.30 pm movie, "Ghost tunnel". A Japanese ghost movie. It has been so long since i last watched a good japan ghost movie. Haha....
I like it, the sound effects and those sudden scaring scenes are nice!! SHIOK la!
But the three fellows beside me were screaming like hell~~ hahahaha

The movie Ghost Tunnel (Otoshimono) was first released in Korea as "Ghost Train" before Japan. I think it was more appropriate to call it Ghost Tunnel as all the occurances are in the tunnel not on board the train. The premise of the story is based on the shocking fact that one of the most popular ways to commit suicide in Japan, is by jumping in front of the train. There are several urban legends surrounding haunted train tracks and tunnels in Japan. As a result, many believe that when taking the train, one should remember to adhere to the following advice: Not to pick up any lost items, to never sit in the last train carriage and not to look to the end of the tunnel when one is in a subway.
High school student, Nana (Eika Sawajiri), is the sole caregiver to her little sister, Noriko, while their mother is in the hospital. Nana's world suddenly turns upside down when her sibling mysteriously vanishes. The only clues left behind in the wake of Noriko's disappearance: The train pass that she had picked up at the station the day before...and the dark shadow seen following the young girl around on the surveillance footage from the train station.

The story begins when Takashi, a primary school boy finds a train pass on the station platform. Upon picking it up, a mysterious woman in black approaches him with a terrifying death sentance, “Whoever picks up this train pass up will die.” Worried about his fate, Takashi tells his classmate, Noriko, and her elder sister, Nana, what had happened…Meanwhile, a series of mysterious incidents have been occurring in the railway tunnels near the Mizunashi station. A young train operator, Shunichi Kuga (Shun Oguri), has spotted a woman’s body lying on the tracks several times. But just as he stops the train to confirm his fears on these occasions, the body vanishes. Nana became best friend of her classmate Kanae who has the cursed bracelet given to her by her boy friend which could not be removed. Both of them together with Shunichi decided to get to the bottom of this bizarre phenomena which lead  to a shocking finale.

The director Takeshi Furusawa being an ex-classmate of Takeshi Shimizu (Director of Ju-On: The Grudge), many in the industry anticipate Furusawa to come out as a leader in the new generation of horror film makers. Ghost Tunnel marks Furusawa’s directorial debut. Therefore on seeing the movie one can see similarities with Ju-On; silhouetted mysterious woman with long black hair, characters with distorted, disfigured faces, shocking sounds and the familiar usual scare techniques. The movie has amusing moments as well when Nana keeps saying "I will be back" reminding me when Arnold Schwarzenegger uttered that famous line from The Terminator. Another phrase which is being uttered by the female spirit in black is "Give it Back" which was meant for the return of the rail pass and the bracelet.

The shocking climax of the movie must be the ending like all J-horror movies. The finale is really unexpected and it must be the highlight of Ghost Tunnel. Overall  Ghost Tunnel is a typical J-horror movie which usually features a pretty heroine, Yūrei (Japanese ghosts) generally female with long, often unkempt black hair which comes from Kabuki theater where each character has a particular type of wig that identifies them to the audience and the typical psychological horror and tension building (anticipation) unlike American modern day horror films which tend to rely heavily on special effects and a multitude of sub-genres (i.e. slashers, demons, extraterrestrials, etc.),  The finale ties up all the loose ends but also leaves us to ponder a few?. Draw your own conclusions when you watch the movie as I am still figuring it out...

Exhausted! But it's ok, tomorrow can sleep on the bus!! But it would be another torturing 5-hour-journey.

See ya people! Going to blog again very soon!
