TTT post~ Food in China

I am currently playing with photoshop, my students from Fine Arts class were teaching me, they have been learning this for almost 3 years!
Now I know how fantastic photoshop can be!!!!
They said that their teacher told them, "Photoshop is not everything, it's just a tool."
But for me, I think I would like to worship it!!! Goshhh....

So I used almost 2 hours to do the first artwork all by myself last night...
Here it goes!

Salty and Oily are the main features of the cooking there. How oily it could be? When I used a pair of chopsticks to pick up a piece of veggie, the oil is still dripping from it. And when we finished eating all the veggie, there was still whole plate of oil at the bottom...

Besides, the total number of dishes served in China are always either 8, 12 or 16. So... I think most of us have put on weight after this trip. LOL!!! (We walked alot though)

And there are few dishes I would like to introduce.

This is green-tea-yam-paste-kinda-"cookies". The outer layer is green tea flavoured and baked till crispy, whilst the inner part is filled with sweetened yam paste. My first time trying this. :)

This is called 狮子头 (Lion head). Meat was minced and made into big balls, then fried. After that they were cooked with sauce... It's tasty but... really filling...

This is 杨梅。Some are sour but this one served to us are just nice, not too sour and not too sweet. A very nice titbit as well and fruit to eat.

Yes yes... we ate them uncooked!!! But with honey or sweet sauce.

And soup will be served. Sometimes two types of soup. One is cooked with animals' bones, another one will be cooked with seafoods.
