Semester 2 has just begun, but it doesn't look great at all, to be honest. We have to do this one 'weird' module in Chemistry, which is something like the application of Chemical equilibria and thermodynamics to a real life situation. Simply, instead of asking in the traditional way, e.g: "Given that the enthalpy change of reaction of glucose in the body is bla... bla... bla... and given that the standard enthalpy of formation of glucose is bla.. bla.. bla.. calculate etc, etc , etc..." , they will ask a question based on real life, e.g.: "You and your friend are lost in the middle of the cold white desert of the Antarctica. The food supply have been depleted, and there is no animal or plant could be seen. Therefore, if you are a cannibal and you eat your friend, how long you will survive? However, if you do not eat your friend, how long instead you will survive?" It's horrible, isn't it? Basically we have to write a sort of planning to answer this sort of question. Moreover, I heard from my seniors that the lecturer for this module lives in a 4-D world! Aigoo~ T_T ~ I wonder am I going to survive this... Should I just live in a 4-D world too?
Karate session was fine after all. But this time is a lot harder than last semester. I should remind myself to avoid of having a spar or practice with any of my black belts Karate senpais. GILA! They don't have any mercy at all!! They're like TERMINATORS! T______T Anyway, and truthfully, I could not remember the new kata movements they introduced - Heaian Nidan and Tekki Shodan. So I googled them up and downloaded the drawings of such kata. Hehe~ It's a bit like cheating though... But I don't think so as I think it is more like an effort has been made. I am going to aim to get a red or yellow belt this time. Last time I refused to grade because I didn't bring my belt... Thinking this over again, I'm kinda regret that I didn't go for grading last time... Sigh~
It's Chinese New Year already. A year of the rabbit, which hopefully will be better than the ferocious year of Tiger last year. And hopefully, I will have a prosperous year! Hop hop hop into a new lunar year... May all of us be more prosperous and lucky this year!!
Anyway,
GONG XI FA CAI
ZHU NI XIN NIAN KUAI LE!
Happy Chinese New Year~
p/s: Can I have my red packets now? :P
