But not the Astros. Never call yourself an Astros fan again. I'm serious. They have made the most INCREDIBLE comeback in the history of the game. Their making the playoffs was just short of a mathematical impossibility. But they did it. It is a miracle that they did it. Don't you dare say they give up when the going gets rough. Don't go there Caitlin. And as for injuries, I'm sorry if baseball players actually make it to a double-digit IQ unlike your sports idols. You know what people with common sense do? They let themselves heal. That's how we have 47 year olds kicking ass. Because they take care of themselves. If sacrificing your health is something you're into, be my guest. Does the police chief give you updates on your cell phone every time they find a body? I doubt it. Just because you haven't heard of one, doesn't mean it hasn't happened. I can't believe I'm arguing about this, but I'm terribly sorry that baseball fans aren't arsons like your soccer fans are. Besides, as for coaches, I haven't heard of anything like that, so until you can tell me a team and name, i'm going to ignore it. Anyway, are you telling me that every single coach in football, soccer, and rugby is perfect? That they would never do anything like what you are suggesting? I find that hard to believe. D. I would hardly call it uniting the world. The Olympics can't even unite the world so I hardly doubt your sport can. besides, I like the fact that baseball is american. We rock at it, it has an old-time american feel to it that other sports lack. Hot dogs, peanuts, the seventh inning stretch. Oh wait, what is that song that every kid in America learns by the time they are 3? "Take me out to the ballgame..." Which ballgame? BASEBALL. I don't hear any songs about the wonders of soccer or football. "I don't care if I ever come back!" That's right. Baseball. E. But in the end, they are still just running up and down the field. Their problem is getting around the other lumbering oafs on the field and trying not to hurt the other team too brutally. Good.
