I'm Still Alive!!!
So here we go...my life since I last updated!
We are back in our house since the Tornado. Been back in forever a year. I don't think I mentioned that.
My mom broke her right femur, her left ankle and a few toes. We tell people she was sky-diving and broke them. Its a more interesting story. Trust me. She had surgery and spent some time in a rehab place. She is home now. The doctor says it might be over a year before she can fully walk on her own.
My sister has a rare auto-imunue disease. Its called dermatomyositis. Google it. Its been pretty rough for her. We go to Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville every three months. She's had this for almost a year now...but is getting better. So that's great.
We had to put one of our dogs to sleep today. That was hard to do. I stayed with him while they did it. For anyone that knows our dogs, it was Duke. We've had him for 13 years. And when we got him, he wasn't a puppy. So yea, he was old.
I am still job searching. With this shitty economy, this isn't the best time to look for a job. I was working temp. at the Election Department here. But that was just during the election. If only we had a recount again...I'd still be working lol.
