Escapism

Well, let's just say I learned that word somewhere haha! Escapism.
I have been very busy ever since I started working in a hospital. It's been 4 months since I became a probationary and it's gonna end in like 2 months after. Hopefully, yours truly will be given a chance to be a regular. Being a nurse requires a lot of effort, well to begin with - being a student nurse was not easy as well. But the responsibilties I have right now is much bigger and heavier since I'm handling with lives. Anyways, I don't really want to dwell too much on the dramas of my job haha! That's why I always had my escape for the stress and challenges of the real world.

As always, my ways to escape from the real world is my BOOKS and the FANDOM WORLD! There's nothing more than being excited from having new books and reading them, as well as enjoying watching my most awaited dramas/movies/tv shows. Even if I lack sleep because of work, I still managed to do fangirling my friends! haha.

Recently, I tried to read as much books as I can. Because everytime I visit a bookstore I can never control myself not buying even a single one (that's why I don't have any savings huhu! what to do?). Probably some of you might think I'm hoarding, but no! I'm not. My library is just too big, there's more space.. LOL joke! But honestly, I just don't buy books easily according to popularity - I choose depending on the genre and my mood haha! 2 weeks ago, I just finished reading "Since You've Been Gone" by Matson and tbh this kind of genre is not really my type. I think the first book that I bought that focuses on a love story was "A Walk To Remember" by Nicholas Sparks, well the movie lead me to bought it and it was worth it! So now I decided to read some stand alone books for most of my books are novels and fiction in genre (which requires more than 1 book). After "Since You've Been Gone" I bought another book of Matson entitled "The Unexpected Everything", I'm still on the first page so maybe I'll make a post about the book after I read it.

Aside from reading, I'm also sidelining on watching movies/dramas/tv shows. I have a lot on my list including Shadowhunters and Sherlock, and the newly added Riverdale and 13 reasons why! But I was always excited to watch Lemony Snicket's "A Series of Unforunate Events" ever since they announced it last year. I can't make a commentary right now since it will take awhile haha but I will try to do it next time on my post. Stranger Things is part on my list as well, still haven't finished watching the first episode OMG haha!

And from the West let's go back to Asia! I just finished watching "A Girl and 3 Sweetheart", like 30mins ago :p
My sister actually recommended this once but I always forgot and only had the time to watch it this week. The story is kinda catchy to me since there's food involve! Of course Kento and Shohei as part of the casts is a plus points! Not really the type of story that you would remember always but the story was both bitter and sweet. I wish I could tell Shohei to come to me after being rejected by Kiritani hahaha! Laugh at me all you want people but I'm pretty sure that's how you feel while watching this drama. But before this, I had watch too many J-doramas and movies already (too bad I wasn't able to make a post about it) from High&Low to Mars - to GTO - to Sugarless - to Anikoma - to Anohana - to Itazura no Kiss movie - to even watching GENE High School tv (which I thinks is really fun and crazy) and to all you could think of! Well, including K-dramas btw like Goblin which is very popular these days in Philippines.

That's why my mom would always get mad at me for instead of sleeping and resting from work - I get busy at home due to reading and watching. Well, what can I do? I'm just a girl who gets happy and enjoy being a bookworm and a fangirl haha.
