If one is awesome, two is better?
So I'm a sucker for sob stories. Everybody knows this. So when I got an email telling me that Elle's sister had arrived at the same shelter from the same jerk lady, I of course had to go meet her. There's no doubt about it, they're sisters. And now I'm probably going to keep Moira (tentative name) at my place on a permanent basis. So cute together!
Okay, done being overly giddy about my cats. They're awesome though, so it makes me happy.
The rest of life has been truckin' right along. Work is going rather fantastically well. We've just hired another analyst who's job duties will focus on the projects I don't like as much. Oh, darn. =D Chelsea and I are fantastic and I get to see her this weekend. Soccer is going well. Although I had an atrocious first half this last Sunday (fell on my face at least 4 or 5 times, literally without contact) I brought it back second half, scoring a hat trick. Tonight I play with Entellium at Lower Genesee (ugh, horrible field) to see if we can continue our unbeaten season. Go Ants!
MLS Seattle finally has a team name! They allowed the people to vote, and vote we did! Seattle Sounders FC will take the field in 2009, which makes me rather happy. I would've loved to create a new team name, but the choices they gave us were horrible. Sounders works QUITE well for me.
That's a basic update. I'm sure I can put more down on a couple of subjects (new game stealing some of my time, Chelsea is awesome, being part of the Enforcers is awesome) but I'm at work and should really get something done. More will come later!
