Two Weeks
Two weeks ago I had a job intview with California State Parks. The position I interviewed for was a historian with the Office of Historic Preservation. At the end of the interview, the panel told me they were hoping to make a decision in the next two weeks. Well time is up and the waiting is driving my nuts. I want this job very badly. . .
Especially since things got screwy at work again. Our Chief of Operations announced on Monday that all exempt employees are to have a 9 hour work day. Basically, they are forcing everyone to take an hour lunch. In order to accomodate my school schedule I have to be at work from 7:00-4:00. If I take a thirty minute lunch, I still have to be there until 4:00. It is only thirty minutes, but I am having a hard time getting use to the schedule. I have been tired all week.
My sister is finally moving to San Diego. She heads down there March 7.
My classes this semester shouldn't be too bad. I will be able to survive and finish my thesis this summer. I am still participating in graduation in May.
