2. Who was your first roommate?
sara salari from toledo, ohio. because of sara i began to say, "oh my gad," "noh way," "gadspeed" as if i were bobby's mom. sara wanted to do doctor's without border's, she had big eyes, she bought jessica simpson's lickable body-spray and she began to like mogwai. she hung a poster on her closet of a cuban flag with che's face on it, which was mildly ironic. she liked tori amos and would always ask, "why am i so awkward?" - the two being unrelated. her brother had recently graduated school and lived nearby, she came from a big clan of salaris and a legacy at columbia. her dad apparently had big crazy iranian hair. her and i said, 'fuck this' one night, smoked pot, cleaned our room and danced around spraying perfume in the air. she was sweet. she always got the bottom bunk. she let me use the second alarm on her alarm clock.
3. What was your first alcoholic drink?
sherry, when i was ten in juarez, spain. we went to a winery and kept getting taste testers in little shot glasses. eventually i got dizzy, and started handing my glass to my parents colleagues. my mom was wearing a loose cableknit shirt that day.

i washed my dog, pancho =). i don't remember how much i got paid.

a little red pick up truck, four gears, no power stearing. toyota maybe. or walgreens.

ms. gibson. and she was totally a "mizz", lady was a BITCH, had to cover it up with a mysterious ms. when truth was no one wanted to marry her ass.
7. Where did you go on your first ride on an airplane?
i'm not sure, i flew when i was a baby.

dude, catherine fuckin carson (so they used to call her on the block), and she actually just moved to manhattan and lives about twenty minutes from me. we met when i was four in san diego.

in our basement in illinois! oh my gosh i remember this. it was such a novel concept to me. this is really hysterical. it was my sister's birthday party (i remember explaining this to my friends at preschool- this is seriously all coming back to me right now) and she had everyone stay the night downstairs. she told me the next morning that they stayed up all night, slept for three hours, and then woke up and had breakfast together. so that's exactly what i told everyone at school what a sleepover was - party, 3 hours sleep, breakfast.
