"You've hardly touched your breakfast, " Kiseop said as he lower his mug on the table.

"I told you, I wasn't hungry." Kibum said shortly.

He look at him thoroughly, searching his face for a clue. Something had changed that was definite. He was already dressed when Kiseop woke up, apparently just finished taking a shower. There was no sign of affection, no sign of closeness they'd shared the other mornings.

Kiseop told himself that Kibum was just tense or excited. The manager told them that they'll be in one dorm with other members, and Kibum will be sharing his room with Kevin. Not Kiseop. And he was probably a lot more worried than he was willing to admit. But even as Kiseop think about it, he was sure it was more than that.

Kibum was intentionally having conrtact with him, even avoiding to meet his gaze. As if looking at him was excruciating.

Kiseop ignored the hurt that was his first reaction and remembered that whatever feelings Kibum had for him was still there, as it always been. Kiseop worked hard for Kibum to notice him, tried many times to pry Kibum away from Kevin, cried many times to keep Kibum in him.

Yes, Kiseop admits. He really did try to separate Kevin and Kibum to no avail. But what will he do? He want Kibum more than anything in this world. And he wouldn't let a fragile, clumsy boy to keep that happiness away from him. He failed many times, lose many times with his battle with life. And when he joined Ukiss, he promised himself that he'll never let himself be the one who'll cry in the corner, regretting about those thing he should have done.

Even though, he failed at ruining the bond between Kibum and Kevin, what matter is, Kibum was still his.

He glanced at Kibum, who barely touched his breakfast.

He's doing it deliberately.  He told himself, and found that he wasn't particularly hungry either.

Pushing his plate away, he said, " Kibum, let's talk about it. Let's get it out in the open."

He looked at him for a moment, frightened. He caught a glimpse of hesitation in his eyes, wondered what caused it.

Then, Kibum look away again, and was so slow of answering that he was about to say something more of himself when Kibum finally spoke.

"I've been giving a lot of thought to our relationship," he said carefully, " and I think we should put an end to it now."

This wasn't Kiseop had expected, He thought the issue would be usual- that, he wanted to be on his own,or Kiseop was too clingy. The unexpected words hurt deeply. His logic wasn't protecting him, and Kiseop needed to pull a mask over his emotions. If he was hurt, he had to keep the fact to himself.

But he need to ask, " Why Kibum? What happened?"

"We hardly knew what we really feel towards each other when we jumped into bed," Kibum replied, standing up, making the chair creaked into the wooden floor."Let's just say, it was a chemical reaction combined with the sense of excitement."

Kibum glanced at him, as tears overflow in Kiseop's eyes. Worry was plastered on Kibum's face, but he continue.

"It relieved some tensions, maybe provided some happiness, but the excitement eventually fades away. And, along the way, I realized, the reason why I can't give my heart to you is that, I've given it already to someone else, on my way here."

Kiseop stared at Kibum. - did he mean?

"Last night, Kevin was screeching himself to death, because he had a bad dream. Eli was comforting him, and almost kiss Kevin on lips and upon seeing it, I-" Kibum sighed, "I.. erm.. I..yeah..lose my control, and punched Eli, and kissed Kevin in front of everyone, behind your back. Kevin won't accept me, unless I broke up with you. Alexander told me to choose between you and Kevin, because I can't have the best of both worlds, so I should let go either of you."

Stop it. I knew what was bound to happen.

Kibum sit again,and faced Kiseop.

"And I think it would be wiser to end it now," he finished.

He sounded so cool, so reasonable. Maybe it had been exactly what he said it was. Maybe he'd only imagined that Kibum was his. Damn it, if he only knew in the end that it was still Kevin who will took away Kibum away from him, maybe he should have asked Kibum to marry him. And now, both of them get hurt in the process. Especially him.

Again, Kibum stands up. "I guess, I made it plainly enough. I'm so sorry Kiseop."

And with that, Kibum walked away.

Kiseop's sight was blurred with the tears falling from his eyes. He heard Kibum's footsteps but it didn't register. The closing of the screen door was a faint sound so familiar that it was unrecognizable.

He stands up, and paced the room.
Images of Kibum and Kevin was coming to him. The harder he tried to repel them, the faster they came.

He swore, and spun around. He heard the faint sound of Kibum's car engine starting up, and it was the last thing he'd heard.
