So, my knitting has been nonexistent lately. I just haven't been feeling my Pomatomus socks, despite the beauty of the pattern. Don't know why, just not into them right now. Same with the lace shawl that I have on the needles. What I am lusting over right now is this beauty:
Hemlock Ring Blanket  How pretty is that? And what genius to be inspired by your grandma's doily. I've had a hankering to knit doilies, but I've resisted because that would be the last thing I'd want hanging to add to my decorating. Too fussy. We're not doily people. But I do like the idea of circular knitting. So, rooting through my stash, thanks to my last Secret Pal, I have four skeins of Jager Shetland Aran in a pretty pale blue which comes to just about 730 yards. Even though the gauge is a bit smaller (aran instead of worsted), I think that should make a nice sized lap blanket for me, or for someone, should I decide to gift it. Let's just see if I can find my knitting mojo....
See? Pretty blue yarn:
So....to start a new project or finish the ones that I've already started?
I must finish some homework before I can play, though.
