I'm such a good wife. I let Bill go away over the weekend to St. Louis with some of his college friends and he left about an hour ago to go on another trip without me, a motorcycle trip that could last as long as a week. They could go as far as Spartan-somethingorother in South Carolina, where his aunt and uncle live. Apparently the goal is to ride the
tail of the dragon, an 11 mile stretch of super curvy road in North Carolina. Michel, that's close to you, right? I'm mildly jealous that he has all of these fun trips planned, but with my school schedule I don't get to get away much.
Speaking of school, I practically had a heart attack yesterday. Our prof. emailed my group saying he couldn't find our group paper that was due last week. I got a call from another group member while I was out running errands. This is a small paper, but still a good chunk of points. Well, it had been my responsibility to turn it in, and I completely forgot to grab the paper off my printer, so when I got home, I emailed him and asked him to not penalize my group members because it was my fault. He emailed me back, basically saying how refreshing it was that I took responsibility and because of that, he was going to grade the paper as if it had been turned in last week. I was so happy to get that email this morning because I was all bummed last night that I had just blown my chances for getting an A in this class. I hope my group mates are just as happy that they aren't getting docked points either.
I'm super boring lately. The job hunt is kind of sucking right now, hopefully something will come along soon. Other than that, I have plans with a couple of friends this week, but our huge group presentation is due next week, so I'm be rehearsing my portion of the presentation over and over and over. Fun Fun.
