TOP TEN FABERRY RELATED SONGS
#10 - My Life Would Suck Without You
A song for Mr. Schue. With some of our favourite moves from past episodes. A bit of Hair-ography. A bit of Halo/Walking On Sunshine. It was almost angelic. (Wow,that wasn't one of better jokes..) Just a very small Faberry moment with Quinn making the Halo over Rachel's head. Horray for Beyonce!
#9 - Jar of Hearts
This became one of favourite songs after hearing it on Glee. Though when I first heard it I kinda thought; Wow, this is a bit of a depressing song to sing at Prom. I mean "A Moment Like This" would have suited the occasion better. It would have been brilliant if she started sing Rebecca Black - Friday halfway through. Anyway. Though this one may not be an obvious choice when you think FABERRY!, but with the whole Rachel helping Finn with choosing Quinn's corsage, I kinda though it was ironic she serenaded "Finn" with this song who happened to be dancing with Quinn. And Quinn's death stare was kinda cute too.
#8 - Lean on Me
This is a very cute musical number. For the Faberry shippers, we were all convinced the stares were guided at Quinn. The Finchel shippers, were convinced Finn was on the end of the gaze. And the Rachel Berry fans were shocked that Rachel was getting to sing a song for once since she hardly gets the chance!
#7 - Get It Right
Another odd choice in the eyes of some probably. But I kinda thought it was a tad ironic after Quinn says, and I quote; : "If you keep looking for that happy ending, you are never gonna get it right" Rachel writes a song called Get It Right, coincedence I think.. maybe yes.
#6 - I Kissed A Girl
Is an explanation really needed for this one .... Yes.. Okay. Well Santana got chatted by some homophobe jock. Rachel almost outted them all with one line. They burst into a song about kissing a girl. Protective Quinn put here arm around her .. well is Rachel her friend .. I dunno. Anyway all very straight and normal but my number 6 :)
#5 - Keep Holding On
I love this song. I loved it when Avril sang it, and I still loved it when Glee covered it. Maybe even more. So Sue just found out Quinn preggers and basically well Quinn's last nightmare came true. So in New Directions style, they sang her a song to make her feel better. And when you've got Rachel giving you sympathy looks and Kurt holding your hand. It ain't bad, in fact it's kinda cute.
#4 - I Feel Pretty/Unpretty
OMG FABERRY DUET. Even I'm surprised at myself for not ranking this higher. I had never heard either of these songs before so listening to this mash-up was a nice surprise. I like Quinn's backstory in the Born This Way episode, but I also felt she was helping Rachel for the wrong reasons instead of encouraging her not to do it.. But a lovely duet none the less. It will remain in the top 10 most played songs on my itunes for the foreseeable.
#3 - We Are Young
This was originally my #5 but I listened to the song while making the list and it miraculously moved up 2 places. Another song I had never heard before but soon loved. I like that they have finally made them friends. It was a beautiful end to a lovely episode, with the New Directions welcoming Sugar, Brittany, Mercedes and Santana back in. This whole episode was phenomenal. I liked the cuteness in the number with the smiles and the leaning over.
#2 - Somebody To Love
I remember something a while back and it was Rachel stepping on Quinn's toe just before Mercedes high note. It was very sneaky and cute and quick. Also the look on Quinn's face after, well she is basically trying not to laugh. I placed it very high for a small thing which is very sad.
Lastly at #1 is...
.....
Almost There...
#1 - Dog Days Are Over
At #1 is Dog Days Are Over. First of all, loved the song and then Glee covered it and I was like OMG!! Anyway. This episode was bit of rollercoaster. Throughout the performance we had Rachel's glances towards Finn, since they had just broke up less than 5 minutes ago. I expected Rachel to be sad in this number.. and she was till about 3/4 of the way through and she seemed to perk up a bit. Rachel, Quinn and Sam split off to one side of the stage and started jumping about like lunatics. I do like that Sam kid. So Sam perfected what was a Michael Jackson move I think, and then everyone ran down for the last part of the song. And in very plain sight Rachel and Quinn holding hands was shown. I spotted it straight away but is just me.
Sorry for probably boring you if you have read this..
