And my short summer is winding down...
Again, it's been eons since I've posted last. So...for all you interested in what's been going on, here's the scoop:
Last week Dave and I went on a vacation down to Tawas to visit family. We had lots of fun, went and saw some cool places, saw the BODIES exhibit down in detroit (really cool...ask me about it), and spent mucho time relaxing on the deck by the lake. I even managed to jet ski a little bit with my collarbone. (probably not the BEST idea, but hey, it worked). I think I got a little spoiled spending a constant week with Dave...being back in the regular swing of work and packing and such is way different.
Speaking of packing, I get my keys to my new apartment in iron river next monday. I'll be making trips to and from iron river all week, so if there's anyone who has a free day/afternoon/morning and wants to help Dave haul stuff up 3 flights of stairs...let me know. I'll appreciate it, and I'm sure Dave will too.
I have 2 days left at McD's. Today and Saturday. Saturday I will literally be working ALL DAY (6am-6pm or something of the sort). But, then I'll be DONE. so that makes me happy. Sad that I won't get a paycheck anymore, but happy that fast food service is done. (at least for now).
Dave and I went to see Harry Potter last night, and I liked it. I thought it did a pretty good job of doing the book justice. Like any movie, they leave stuff out...but...what can ya do.
Kate and Rob get married in 16 days. Dave also leaves for Thailand/Indonesia in 16 days. I leave to go downstate for the wedding in 14. That makes me ridiculously sad, but I'll spare you all my 'i'm going to miss Dave like crazy' ramblings.
