A Thousand Paper Cranes
I've heard of projects like this one before, but a friend of mine has started a charity project she's calling A Thousand Paper Cranes. The idea is to get 1000 people to make one paper crane and mail it in with $1. She's then going to donate that money to a charity. It's something that's easy to do, and can have a big impact. If you're the type that worries about the credibility of projects like this, take it from my personal knowledge of Bianca that she will put every dollar where she says she will.
