I clearly need a longer one. Because my patience is severely lacking. Ben is an adorable boy, but hates it when I withdraw affection and approval. And I sympathise for his distress, I really do. But I do not want him to play with the cats biscuits, to tip over their bowls and to scoop cat biscuits into my coffee mug. And he knows that "BEN, NO!" is not a good thing.
Oddly enough, i feel more relaxed now he is in his playpen. And he seems perfectly happy as well. Why do I worry that I am stunting his development by not allowing him free access to the rest of the lounge.
