Danny and Lynn and Fabian
Yesterday was the first wedding day I have shot in Singapore for more than a month!
The couple, Danny and Lynn, shot their pre-wedding with me in Melbourne so we were really comfortable with one another. That made it really easy to shoot.
It was also a reunion of sorts for me. Jacquelyn Law did the makeup for the bride, Harianto (Boenga) did the flowers and Fabian Lim made an appearance! Fabian is retired from wedding videography but apparently, Lynn's incessant smses every other day forced him out of retirement! Bizarre.

Fabian also mentioned at the end of the wedding, that it was very likely the last wedding he's filmed. I, honestly, think that when it comes to the romantic form of video with lots of panning, he has few peers here in Singapore. Its quite unfortunate that we are losing a talent like him, especially in the wedding video industry here in Singapore, which is already too small.
But then again, the guy is on to better things (for himself). New passions.
Before leaving, I told him how much I liked his works and his parting words were, "Well, it was good while it lasted."
I wonder if I will feel the same way. Photography is very much my life now and it is really hard to imagine myself doing anything else.
