And yet again I am reminded of what a wonderful person he is...
"10. This girl I met on a cruise a few years ago, and strangely enough we still keep in touch. I really have a great time when we get to hang out, which is maybe once every year and a half because you live so damn far away. It's truly a shame that we don't live closer because I really think that things might be different… but, until next time I party with ya at U of M."
Brandon posted that in a myspace blog, where you write something about all the people in your top friends, but don't say who each little blurb is about. I was just thinking about him today, so that was kind of nice. I just remember how excited I was about meeting him, I don't think I've ever been so smitten with someone on my life, so it's great that we still keep in touch. Who knows what would have happened if we lived closer together. maybe we would have stayed together. Who knows, maybe someday we'll be at the same place at the right time.
Work sucks by the way. *But it's funny to see the little freshmen and sophomore boys in h.s. try to flirt with you as you are slopping mac and cheese on their plates.* So does the unbearable heat in my apartment. Guys suck too, except for maybe the one mentioned above, and a few others. But, I can't wait for the weekend! Everyone's having parties and Margaret is coming to visit on Thursday!
I decided I am most likely going to go for a master's degree in social work, preferably at U of M, but I guess wherever I get accepted. I really can't see myself doing much of anything else other than social work, unless it's working for a nonprofit or some type of service organization. However, social work as a career means I better find a rich husband. (or win the lotto).
