Quick update
The ten days on Norfolk Island were awesome. We made it out to Phillip Island, which was very cool. Got to check out what will be my eventual study site. So excited! On the way back to the main island, (Phillip is 7k out) the boat started to weave. I am not so hot on being out in open water even without the weaving! Looked over the side, and saw a flying fish!!! (yes, worth the extra punctuation, it was one of the coolest experiences of my life thus far.
I leave to the States for tomorrow. Christmas, then getting ready for the wedding. I picked up The Dress yesterday. I am not looking forward to carrying it on my 29 hours of time in the air. Longest layover is only 7 hours in AKL. But home soon, and I can see Brian for the first time in 5 weeks. So long to wait!
