well that all just changed...
So, initially I was going to write about Beastly, the movie I just watched with kimmo tonight which was surprisingly good. Now, as always, typical teen drama, cliche storyline, and all, but... and I can't believe i'm about to write this... Mary-Kate Olsen was actually really good as the witch, and Alex Pettyfer was beleivable as both the beautiful a-hole and the beastly trying-to-be-nice guy. Vanessa Hudgens was also good in her role as Belle. But the real star of the show? None other than Dr. Doogie Howser himself. Neil Patrick Harris' character (the blind tutor) had the greatest lines in the whole show, and stole more than one scene.
But.. that's not what the awesome of the day is.... Today's awesome is that two of my friends got engaged today!
They're the couple that I met each one separately, and when they started dating (two years ago, today), it was an immediate 'oh that's so perfect!' kind of reaction. They're just the cutest couple, and I'm so glad that they're taking this next step together! So, congrats to Sharla and Nathan! You two are awesome together!
