[#527: I'm updating my online journal!]

SO guys
I never actually updated my adventurous journey to Philly, on May 14th.
Well, as usual, I took reluctantly took the Chinatown bus, which doesn't stop at Penn Station anymore, for some reason, so I had to go to the actual Chinatown stop WHICH OF COURSE I got lost finding. Though, I was in luck, a nice busdriver gentleman offered to show me the way... since I had wandered to the bus depo instead of the actual stop. SO, I missed the bus I wanted to take originally, and had to take the 2 o'clock bus. The bus took a half an hour to start, and then suddenly, we (all the passengers) were instructed to suddenly switch buses before we left. So, we did.
EVERYTHING WAS GOING FINE, I fell asleep for a while. Then, about half way to Philly, our bus pulled over while on the highway. Atfirst everybody thought we were in trouble because we were pulled over by a cop... but! Then! Through our windows CLOUDS OF BLACK SMOKE could be seen, and we're all like, "THE BUS IS ON FIRE??!"
Indeed, Chinatown bus passengers, your bus was on fire.
YEP. So, through all this, the driver said absolutely nothing to us. So the cop told us what was going down, and that there was a rest stop a little up ahead, and we'd stop there until another bus came to finish the way to Philly (And D.C., since the bus was going to only make a quick drop off at Philly, and it's final stop was D.C.)
Oh, and by the way? The reason the bus was on fire in the first place? The driver thought of the great idea to mix diesel and kerosene.
Later, when explaining the story to Sarah's dad:
Sarah's dad: You can do that?
Sarah: EVIDENTLY NOT.
Okay, so, anyway.
We waited at the bus stop. AND WAITED AND WAITED. Finally! A bus came! But... It was only for people to D.C. WHICH MADE NO SENSE SINCE THE BUS WAS ORIGINALLY GOING TO PHILLY, THEN D.C. so then everybody waiting to go to Philly had to wait some more.
So we waited
four
hours
for a bus.
Yep, four hours. It barely took that long to get there in the first place.
CONCLUSION: I HATE YOU CHINATOWN BUS. (Another time I took this bus, the driver missed the exit to Philly and was like, "That's the third time! Damn! Sorry, ya'll")
I think the funniest part about this story, is that a week after I left Sarah's apartment, THE APARTMENT NEXT TO HERS WAS ENGULFED IN FLAMES, resulting in the destruction of Sarah's apartment. So, basically, everything is catching on fire.
The time I stayed there was fun, though. And! Sarah's coming here for a week starting tomorrow (We'll be at Mocca!). In related news (sort of?), Will left for Florida for a week today. I'm jealous! He gets to go to the beach and stuff. But, in two weeks, we're renting a house in Long Island for a weekend so I can beach it up then. Then, a week after that, we're staying in Philly for a weekend for his friends wedding... then we're embarking on some sort of southern road trip? We haven't worked out the details yet.
Uh! So related to that, I HAVE NO MONEY. Seriously, I'm flat ass broke. The only money I have, I'm trying pretty hard to save for future trips. For now, I'm trying to get some temporary jobs and selling some shit online. Whoa, this pargraph has TWO curse words! Two! You can understand the desperateness of the situation then.
I've been interested in doing modeling for art classes, and have been calling a bunch of schools to see what's up with that. The results so far: Three schools booked for the summer, all told me to come in and fill out an application anyway incase of cancelations, two suggested I bring a photo; one still has availability! I'm going tomorrow to check it out, and then try and go to the other ones as well.
I'm also going to try and model at SVA (the school I attend, if you didn't know). When I called, they said they had auditions a few weeks ago (I didn't know they held auditions!), but I could try for fall. So I'd be modeling for the same students I'd be attending with. It might be awkward, If some former classmate I had would be there, I guess. But whatevs.

Oh, When I was in Philly, Sarah and I did an art trade with cute little oval canvases and decided to paint people with animal heads, because that's how we do. She wanted a finch, and I wanted a deer. She also made mine baroque the fuck out! Scooore.

In other news: I kind of miss having long hair!
Other other news: I'm trying to get me website up, ALSO I'm trying to make... comics?!? And some other projects.

OH OH HAVE YOU GUYS SEEN THE MIGHTY B???!??!?!?!?!?!? I've been absent from watching cartoons WAY too long... dude, this show is... THE BEST. First of all, It's based on the character Amy Pohler played in UCB, second of all AMY POHLER DOES THE VOICE?!?!? AWESOME?!?! Also it's insanely funny and well animated.
So
Watch it

Oh, speaking of absent from watching cartoons, Yu updated me on some things, and... what the?! When did Sponge Bob's humor take a turn for sitcom style? Though, that episode where Squidward becomes beautiful, JUST HIS FACE it's amazing... especially the last scene, oh my god.
OKAY I'M DONE TYPING I'M DONE
