official business in 2004

Well it's not really any sort of business...well I guess it's partially your business being that I have written it here to share with you. I don't know what I'm talking about.

The days have been good. Relaxing mostly (wow, I actually learned how!)

I am addicted to NetFlix and I think it's the greatest thing ever. Say good-bye and good riddance to Blockbuster!

I have the month of January off from school but I hope to sub sub sub to get some more money money money! So far I have at least 6 days that are accounted for, if not it's half days at the daycare.

In the meantime:

1)I will be spending a lot of the time hacking into MLS databases so that we can find our perfect condo/townhouse/single family home. As far as we know, the deed will be done around February 27 which means we have to get a jump on finding a new place. I'm tired of living here at the Arboretum. It started out okay but really, as time goes by, it gets old...FAST!

2) I will be finishing up my teaching portfolio which is more than a thorn in my side and most of the times they never even look at it...but it is an assignment. Curses.

3) I will be finishing up YOUTH IN REVOLT and REVOLTING YOUTH.

4) I will be trying to put up a lot of stuff on ebay...dang how I wish I had a nicer digital camera! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR...

5) I will be working on my attempted children's novel for myself and for a contest due in April...I have 99 pages to go...eeks. Talk about motivating. Even if I don't get the $7500 book deal and $1500 prize monies, if it turns out good, I'll be looking elsewhere.

Anyway, not like anyone really holds their breath awaiting to see what I will write next, but I just thought I'd update for the heck of it and for any strangely and wonderfully curious peoples.

Signing off...
