Hey girls and boys!
So its has been awhile and I completely forget what my last post was about but Sara wants one so she gets some entertainment. I dont really know what she wants so Sara here it goes.
This semester of school is going sooooooo much better. 100 times over! I find I have more time to which I put to good use reading non school books that effectively allows me to procrastinate with school work and makes me cranky on Saturday mornings when I think the world is over. But how I adore books. All kinds. At the moment I have a sweet yoga book on the go and I am about to dive into the fourth summer of the traveling pants series. its absolutely the greatest! however there is a romance one that seems to be calling my name!
More and more I am finding myself embracing the joy that church brings to my life. I think I am finally acknowledging that the community is amazing and it is where I belong for the moment. I started a Song of Faith mainly with Karen, but Braedon too. We go and discuss a new document that the United Church put out, i think its fantastic because I can get opinions on so many different issues from people with more experience and maturity, no longer am I simply with my thoughts and other young peoples. However it is definately a challenge at times to hear opinions that have been someones opinion for ages I am sure and sometimes take them as an insult. Its hard to keep thinking I am just as human as these people. When is the line drawn on whose experiences are worth more?
Earth Day is coming up in April I hope everyone is getting ready and can make one resolution. We can see it as a New Years time or even a Lenten vow. Who knows, we may be able to work with this concept! I am hoping to get some students in SASA excited and get an awesome day planned with tons of enviro info and confrontation! I need to find a way to get rid of my car, could be simple as getting a job in town. BUt we will have to see!
Not much else I can comment on. There is tons of other stuff going on in my mind but as those issues arent in the forefront of my mind I cannot type about them without making them seem insignificant, which THEY ARE NOT! Haha, they are tons important and concern me greatly, but just not at this moment. But I am happy to say in general my life is on a rise. Kind of like how the tension was decreasing after the Cuban Missile Crisis, generally it went down but there were definately some spikes in tension. I am more than surviving these days!
Peace be with all of you, and to those who would like/need one, tons of hugs!! Kelsie
