Procrastination and Turkey Day
I'm procrastinating starting my 9 page essay on the Women's Diaries of the Westward Journey and the McGuffy readers (isn't that interesting?) so I'm writing in my livejournal.. for the 3 time ;)
*Thanksgiving (my second) was good... we went over to my neighbor's house and I played N64 Mario and Alex and I got like 40-something stars so.. yah. I'm glad we have a long weekend because I can sleep in :) yay for holidays!
*Aaron e-mailed us on thanksgiving.. he gets to go to Quatar for a few days with a couple guys from his company, so that's pretty cool. Ryan is still at Jump School in Georgia.. and let me tell you he doesn't have anything good to say about the East Coast or how the Army runs things.
*I've been shopping and painting and going to Starbucks by myself a lot. I like doing things alone... is that a good thing? I do still envy my friends who aren't "alone" as far as a significant other goes but.. whatever... how does that song go? "No you can't hurry love, oh you just have to wait" hmm.. yah.. patience is a virtue.
I suppose that turned out to be kind of a pointless update but that's alright...
