My Dad and I were trying to find the official name for the guitar solo that comes right before Van Halen's "You Really Got Me". So, after some excessive googling, we found this one site that actually had reviews... For the guitar solo.. Crazy. This is how one guy put it:
"It just sounds like a bit of wank, but when the main riff of the song kicks in, it's like a thousand Christmas presents opening up on your birthday filled with squirtgun-wielding topless playboy playmates covered in chocolate sauce waiting to play endless rounds of slippery Twister with you."
Okay, well technically I Didn't think the solo was that good, but my Dad and I both thought that quote was worth quoting.
Is there some sort of asylum for the helplessly review-addicted quote-quoters? A.k.a. Me?
