Hah! That's funny!
Anyway, welcome back. I don't have a title photo because I'm lazy so forgive me, but I'm sure there'll be one for the third chapter (whenever I actually have time to play/write/post it). Since I just posted the first chapter I'm not recapping, so let's head under the cut.
When Kelsey got back to Twinbrook, she went right back to chasing down stories.
Kelsey: "So tell me, Mr. Baker, why did you feel compelled to steal money from your own mother?"
Lincoln: "I...uh...didn't?"
What a mess! Whenever the townspeople use the library, they don't bother to put away their books. After several weeks, this was the result.
Anyway, Kelsey was getting up there in funds, so I figured it'd be an excellent time to move her out of the swamp and into something a little bit closer to work. House tour!
I love everything except for her bedroom. But whatever.
This isn't her LTW completed, obviously, but I had a moment of pride since the sim version of myself was an Editor in Chief! <3
Anyway, here's where things get a little wonky.
For the duration of this game, I'd had my eye on this guy for Kelsey - however, he got married and had kids too quickly for me to find him and snatch him up. However, when he stumbled into the same woods where she was fishing, I considered it fortuitous.
I AM SUCH A BAD PERSON.
However, this made me feel twenty times better. Minutes, and I mean sim minutes, after Justin broke up with his wife, she was romancing another man. LOL.
At any rate, after that all happened I had Kelsey and Justin (and his two children) move into this farmhouse-looking thing together.
And Kelsey broke up with Sinbad. Also, apparently breaking up with someone helps with skill challenges. Nice.
So life with Justin & his kids was not exactly what I'd hoped for. For one, Kelsey had a harder time working from home because one of the kids always needed attention. For another, I hated it. I just HATED it.
But anyway, soon it was Kelsey's time to become an Adult.
If I was stuck living with Justin and his bratty kids, I would be, too, bb.
So glad you asked!
I decided that, to celebrate her LTW, Kelsey would start anew. So she moved out of Justin's house, and then...
I SENT HER TO SUNSET VALLEY YAY YAY YAY YAY!
Anyway, she got a cute little beach-front property, and you may now have a house tour:
End of the house tour!
This happens at the beginning of every Sunset Valley game with the little update hack installed.
Just a pretty shot. :) I love Sunset Valley!
And, even though she was finished her LTW, Kelsey was back to writing stories.
Kelsey: "So tell me, Leighton, what's your work-out regime? Surely someone as ripped as you are spends some time in the gym."
And sure enough, they were making out in a park bathroom half an hour later.
Anyway, Kelsey wasn't just focused on writing. She also made friends with the rich and famous (Thornton Wolff (?) and Gunther Goth, to name a couple), and went out to parties.
Oh, and she and Gunther became like best friends. For a while there was flirting and I thought she'd hook up with him, too, but then...
NOOOOOOOOOO----
I didn't realize how much this would bug me!
So, to rectify this problem, Kelsey asked Leighton on a date to the beach.
He brought his son.
Honey, it's a real date not a play date.
YEAH! Score!
However, I'm starting to understand why some women may hate me.
Took like 20 shots of that one kiss because these two are just so cute. Also because the scenery is gorgeous.
And then Kelsey proposed.
And yes, that old woman in the first picture was Leighton's elderly mother.
Pauline, honey, you're better than him. Run away now.
Anyway, this is where I'll leave you for the time being! Hope to see you soon. :)
