The Bates Family Legacy [3.6]

Sep 11, 2011 14:13

Hey, and welcome back!

Where we left off, Ariel gave birth to triplets and I cried. Anyway, the triplets were girls that I named Nora, Dee, and Hadley. Nora was the good cop, Dee was the bad cop, and Hadley was just...there. I'm kidding, though, she's cute. Anyway, the rest of the chapter consisted of triplet spam. Fun times!

Let's head under the cut and see what the Bateses got up to this chapter!

So before we get started, I have a long story for you guys.
Basically the family was glitching up a little bit in Twinbrook. As you know, Ariel couldn't be a photographer because the camera glitched. And periodically the triplets would be playing with their toys and suddenly be flung away from them - it was like the game was involuntarily resetting them for me. Stupid, right?
So while the glitches weren't bad, I didn't want to get to a point where they were, so I moved the family back to Sunset Valley as a preventative measure. And since y'all know how much I love Sunset Valley, I'm sure you're not surprised to find that I was SO HAPPY there. :D

Okay, let's commence with the chapter now. Family spam time!

Everything just seemed better in Sunset Valley. Their house (I'll show you later) was better, they were happier, everything was sunnier.

And then it was birthday time! The girls grew up, and I didn't include pictures/stats because...well, you'll see.

Anyway, this is the house. It's situated right beside Agnes Crumplebottom's house, up on the hill. I'd never had a family live there before, so I figured why not? And it ended up being PERFECT for them. :'D

Okay, seriously, do you see why I love this place?

Dee: "I will strangle myself. I will."

She does this a lot now. I guess it's her insanity coming out. xD

And speaking of Dee and the girls, here's some spam:

As crazy as Dee is, she's actually a little bookworm. Always wants to learn her logic skill! Neat.

Nora and Hadley, however, are more interested in having fun. ;D

Occasionally, though, Dee got in on it too.

Hey, look who showed up for school! You have no idea how happy I was that the girls were around the same age as Mortimer Goth, Michael Bachelor, and some of the other famous Maxis faces. I was just starting to plan who would marry whom when this happened:

I was in the relationships panel, checking if the girls had met anyone noteworthy at school, when I realized that they all knew Hank Goddard. And HE WAS THEIR FATHER. And Hank Bates? Well, he wasn't.

Apparently moving to Sunset Valley with Hank and spawn-of-Hank in tow ripped a hole in the time-space continuum.

BACK TO TWINBROOK WE GO!
(Good thing I hadn't deleted the other game yet. So I just resumed with the family when the girls were toddlers.)

Ellie: "WHEE, I HAVE A TRAMPOLINE AGAIN."

El, you always had a trampoline.

Anyway, birthday time for the girls again. Seeing them as children won't be nearly as exciting, but whatever. :P

Here's Dee! (She's obviously a hipster, with the skinny jeans and rubber boots. ;D)
Anyway, she rolled (yes, ROLLED) the kleptomaniac trait. Who was I not to put it in? xD

This is gonna be fun...

Anyway, Nora, on the other hand, is becoming the girl next door. I like her, though. :) She's cute.

And Hadley's apparently going to be adventurous. Neat!
(I feel bad, but she just seems like this generation's sad sack to me.)

Anywhooo, that's where I'll leave you for now. Ch.7 is coming out in probably 20 minutes, though, so keep your eyes peeled for that!

ts3 town life, ariel bates, glitches, time-space continuum, hank you're such a tank, ts3, ellie bates, sunset valley, hank goddard, nora bates, liang yat sen, dee bates, ariel's such a bamf, hadley bates
