The Adventures of Ian and Kamal Barros, Writer and Musician Extaordinaires [12]
Hey, and welcome back to The Adventures of Ian and Kamal Barros! I'll recap here and then we'll head under the cut for some ~fun.
Last time, there were promotions galore. Like, it was just painful. The Barros family was succeeding a little too much. I ran out of my ability to yay about it, and when the chapter finished I promptly tossed my cookies beside my computer. (Just kidding.)
Kamal became a teenager, and Ian married Seraphina, his short-term lover. I discovered shortly after their marriage that her personality was disheartening, she was a fake-blonde, she was older than Youssef, and she had the biggest knockers imaginable. They entered a room approximately six seconds before the rest of her did, and if she was actually real the sheer weight of them would probably give her back problems or have her falling face-first a lot.
Ian and Seraphina attempted conception several hundred times before finally achieving said goal, and they had a baby boy that I named Morgan (I would've been happier if he was a girl, but I digress). Morgan grew up into the derpiest toddler and then the cutest kid ever, with interesting gold eyes.
Seraphina changed her traits around so she was bearable, and I concluded the chapter on the predictable note of someone (this time Kamal) getting a promotion.

Morgan decided on his LTW: to cross-breed humans and robots.
Awesome.
And I know what you're thinking: yes, he is the most normal child out there. There'll be no mistaking that. :P

Triple birthday time! Seraphina's becoming an elder, Ian's transitioning pointlessly from young adult to adult, and Kamal's becoming a young adult. :)

Anyway, he aged, and we moved onto the next one: Kamal.
I gave Kamal the 'great kisser' trait, in keeping with his casanova personality. :)

Anyway, now you can stare at him in some hot clothes, looking...well, hot.

Anyway, Kamal had enough points to buy him a change in traits, so I switched up a few, and added virtuoso and charismatic to help him with his LTW and the ladies.
He also got a job as a Fan, in the music industry. Now all he has to do is work his way up the corporate ladder!
Yeah, I know it's exciting.~~~~

So you know how I planned for Kamal to be a total womanizer?
Well that went out the window when he met Diana Jones (the lovely lady in the picture above). She's so pretty and awesome and lovely (and a vampire!), and I want them to have many children.
Just one hitch: she's married.
Oh, who cares?!?!
Are they not the cutest couple ever? 8D
(And also, feel free to admire my lovely shots of the cutest first kiss ever. I'm quite proud.)
Anyway, while that was going on, Ian was also meeting a lady at the beach: her name is Diedre Littler, and she's actually someone that Youssef met because he was styling her. When I saw how cute she was, I knew Ian had to have her. (Hell, Seraphina has to die soon! I honestly don't even like her anyway.)
So, yeah, they're currently meeting in secret. I REGRET NOTHING.
Oh, one more cute picture of Kamal and Diana. Aren't they a gorgeous couple!?!?
Oh yeah, and Kamal convinced her to leave her husband, so Diana is now free for the taking! :D
She will be a Barros soon!

And speaking of Morgan, it's his birthday! :D
I got to choose his trait and went for Handy, though honestly I don't know why. (I feel like when I picked it I had a reason, but I honestly can't remember now.)
Anyway, here's the final result.

Oh yeah, and he also got a job as a spa specialist, like his father before him. :)

I know I wished that Seraphina would die, but I didn't expect her to die so soon - and especially not before Addi!
Anyway, she turned into a ghost prior to talking to the Grim Reaper, as is customary in TS3, but when he finally had to get to her, things got a little wonky...

I wish I had a more clever comment, but I feel like the photos speak for themselves.

I'd left the whole Diana thing sitting long enough, and Kamal isn't getting any younger, so I invited Diana over to seal the deal.
First he asked her to be his girlfriend...
Then his fiancee...
And finally his wife. 8D
And then Diana Jones became Diana Barros!
OMG PROCREATING TIME I'M SO EXCITED- I mean: yay. I would very much for them to have a child. But I'm not overly excited by any means.
Anyway, here are Diana's stats, for those of you who are curious. Her LTW is totally manageable, but I'm going to have to change some of her traits - namely Couch Potato, Neurotic, and Dislikes Children. (Because what sense would that make in a legacy?)
Oh, did I mention that she's most definitely pregnant?
Well, she is!

I love when the first baby bump comes in TS3, and the mother gets this real maternal look; it's so sweet!
And motherhood definitely looks good on Diana, wouldn't you agree?
The couple who reads pregnancy books together stays together!
And since everyone was getting all happily married off and stuff, I thought it'd be appropriate to get Diedre to join the family as well.
Oh, awkward.
Anyway, Ian asked her to be his girlfriend, and there would've been cute pictures if I hadn't got distracted by other sims in the house and left the game playing so that I missed the interaction entirely.
But I digress.
They promptly got engaged, and then married. (And wasn't it fortuitous that she was wearing her Sunday best?) Diedre moved into the house, and then...
AGHGHGHGHGHGH NOOOOOOOOOO D;
*cries a river of tears*
Anyway, Addi passed on into the afterlife surrounded by her sons and their wives. Youssef, unfortunately, was out doing styling work and wasn't there to see his wife's passing. ):
Something about that just made me really sad.
But with one free space left in the house, life must carry on; so Ian and Diedre procreated (and I know that to be true, because I heard a lullaby).
Well, that's where I'll leave you for now! And I know I said that Ian and Kamal would only have one kid each, but I really, really wanted to see what Ian and Diedre's children would look like!
Anyway, next time I'll throw in Diedre's stats so you can see why I'm just a little disappointed with her, and maybe we'll see some Gen.3 babies! :D
