30 Day Music Meme [Day 16]
Oh, joyous Monday. I fell out of bed only to go to the bathroom and crawl back into it for twenty minutes, eat a rushed breakfast, get dressed, and run off to class without showering. And now that I've attended my way-too-early English lecture, showered, did my dishes, cleaned my room, and ate lunch, I can finally sit down and do today's music meme before jaunting off to my second English class of the day, followed by Politics through Film.
This is the life of a university student. Be forewarned. :P
At any rate, I always have a little bit of a sad when I have to put in a song that I don't like, so today's song choice was a bit of a downer for me - it's a song I used to love and now hate. And, after some thought, I came up with one.
Day 16: A song I used to love and now hate
As a general rule, all dancers hate songs that they've performed to, because that performance had months and months of practice behind it - months and months of hearing the same song over and over and over again until it finally eradicates your very last nerve. Generally, I'm an exception to that rule, but I really can't stand Get Up by Ciara, which I danced to over five years ago. I used to really, really like it but now if I hear it on the radio or on someone else's iTunes, I just cringe.
