"don't be jewish."

i never really feel like writing about things that happened because it kind of feels like a waste of time. like, instead of spending my entire life remembering things i've already done.. i could be doing something else, or thinking of something else. but i'm going to anyway. yesterday lauren sarah and i met alot of very interesting characters on elmwood while we were wandering around. there was a guy at jim's who had a wild tattoo of jesus on his arm, it was so beautiful. so i got really excited and i was staring at him and then they noticed i was staring and i was like "wow is that jesus on your arm?" and he said yeah and i said, wow i really respect you for that. and we were totally friends. and then! there was a kid on a bike who said he was homeless and he needed a dollar, and i'm pretty sure if would have given him a dollar, but i didnt have one. but we talked to him, and he had "poison free" tattooed on his arms. i guess it was a big night for tattoos. he said he needed a dollar so that he could eat... but i thought, if he was homeless, why not sell his bike so that he could eat? it was definitely a conundrum. so then i decided to try out begging for money, and i asked some man walking down the street for a dollar, but he said "do you know how many people are out asking for money?" and i felt so homeless, sitting on a corner, smoking cloves, asking strange men for money. and then! we noticed a drunk man with no shirt was following us, and all of a sudden he screamed "i don't know which one of you has the nicest ass, but i bet you can't do this with it!" and he pulled down his pants and shook his ass at us. it was the most outrageous thing i've ever seen... i can't believe it actually happened. and so i asked him if he was lost, and then we decided that we should probably run away. so we ran and sarah got burned and so we stopped and then the drunk man was chasing us! and so we ran and ran and it was really funny. so we went home, and then we decided to smoke in every room. and we described why we picked the room that we did to smoke in, and it was very poetic. when we were in the living room, the only light in the room was from outside, and it was only on the clock. and it was really beautiful.

words of the night:
"diversity is on the inside"
"we walk faster when we have a destination"
"don't be jewish"
