This is going to be a great summer for reading. Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince = extremem excitement. Eldest is coming out sometime, too, and I just read today that the sequel to a Great and Terrible Beauty is coming out in the fall. Rebel Angels, what a hot title.
It makes me supremely happy that today was the last Monday I will have to go through at the Jr. High. Now I just need to make it through some Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Thursdays I don't mind, and Fridays are lovely. That reminds me of a Cure song, so I'm gonna listen to it.
Yesterday, my mother told me we were going on a picnic. A picnic? Fun, right? WRONG. The cruel truth was that I was lied to by my parents. They wanted to go HIKING!!! Can anyone picture Kelsey Kavanagh hiking? Answer: no. My parents, always trying to make me do something outdoorsy. Next, they'll tell me we're going shopping and then take me camping or something equally awful. Actually, in my head I have a really cool image of myself playing guitar with everyone sitting around a campfire, so maybe that wouldnt be so bad.
I'm going to go indulge in some soup.
