the sky opened a little over an hour ago, and dumped so much water all at once that I literally watched the pit where the pool used to be completely fill in that time. 26' diameter pool, pit is maybe 1 or 1 1/2' deep at the center, sloping upwards to the edges. you do the math.
I feel like we really ought to be seeing animals of the Serengeti drinking from our watering hole, and wading in for a mud bath.
