ok everybody...here is my poem for week 10. It's one of those inside jokes-so don't worry if you don't understand it. I'm just rambling AGAIN =D
fear nothing
but fear
or so i am told.
yet nothing
but you
can make
my fear unfold.
the way you look
the way you see
the way i hear you
coming near me.
the way that you move
so daintily.
makes me feel sick
and weak at the knees.
my favourite thing
attracts you too
but what scares me most
is not the fact you say boo.
the one thing i hate
i loathe
i despise.
is the multicoloured beast
most call butterflies.

comment for week 10:
poem
hey angela!
again i am commenting on your page because i really liked this poem.
the fear felt very real, especially because it spoke from a first person perspective. also i think everyone that has experienced death can relate to this poem.
the last stanza was my favourite. keep writing!

hey germaine!
i definitely agree with you about how fortunate we are to live in a country with so much freedom and opportunities, yet not a lot of people are able to appreciate what we have here. in some countries there is no freedom of speech, religion or political views and there is the very real possibility that you will be killed for not adhering to strict regimes. i also liked how you mentioned the consumeristic nature of our society-it related well to what we looked at in class! good work!
