i'm sure most people, if not all people, will have heard on the news in these recent weeks the tumultuous relationship between chris brown and rihanna. in the first week apparently chris verbally abused, threatened to kill and attacked rihanna with an umbrella, leading to photos showing her face bruised and beaten. then the story was changed to the fact that chris brown had been acting in a manner of self-defence. now they are back together, according to recent tabloids, amidst a court trial and various sources ranging from "she's forgiven him" to "they remain friends".
so where does this leave us? if chris brown has attacked rihanna, by going back to him is she allowing young women around the world that aspire to be like her believe that it is acceptable to stay with someone that physically abuses you, sometimes repeatedly? will we ever know what really happened?
