Thanks to Facebook, this site has long ago ceased to be a means of keeping up-to-date on my friends' lives. Additionally, all of my online fandom activity has moved over to Tumblr. As for my own journal, it doesn't really serve a purpose for me anymore. I no longer get any fulfillment from writing periodic update posts, and anyone who I care to know about the important events in my personal life will hear about them from me through email or phone.

Therefore, I have decided that I will probably not be updating this journal anymore. I'll keep it around for reasons of posterity and nostalgia, at least for the foreseeable future.
