We didn't get a lot of snow, but...
It blew... and drifted... and if I didn't know any better, I'd swear that there was a huge sign over my house that said "DRIFT HERE"... I spent most of my afternoon trying to get all of the driftage off of my deck and around my car (both my back door and sliding glass door had huge drifts against them)... my neighbor's snowblower decided to take a dirt nap as he got started with clearing the crap... he went out and bought another one and helped me clear the rest of the parking area in the back of my house. The kids came by earlier (they both own 4x4s) and told me that there was no way I could get around, since the city hadn't started plowing in my neighborhood yet (the snowplows hit the streets in my neighborhood at around 6pm, but my alley still hasn't been touched - I have a feeling that they will hit the alleys just before I start work and there will be an impossible to shovel ridge behind my car in the morning)... I hear we're supposed to get more - as long as it doesn't drift like today's batch did, it should be all right... I didn't go to the gym to work out over the weekend - I think I more than made up for that today!
