Private Practice?

I'm thinking of taking this journal to private settings.  If you are interested in keeping up with what I'm writing (which will start to be posted soon...I promise!), friend me.  We'll figure this out as we go along...

Okay so it's now 3:13...and I know what you mean about the 1 hr difference, when we have the daylights savings etc in the fall and spring I always have issues.

After Katie raved about The Good Wife I watched season 1 over the summer, I haven't watched this season yet, but will catch up. I have many shows that I've DVR'd but other than Bones, CSI:NY, Grey's (which you're right it's like a bad addiction, you know that you'll regret it but you keep coming back for more hoping the next hit will give you what you're looking for). I watch Private Practice, but I could take it or leave it. I haven't heard of Outlaw, I did get into something...obviously not that great (oh Lone Star), but it's been cancelled, which is okay, I questioned how the story could continue for any length anyways.

I've watched about 4 or 5 comedies, one (Running Wilde), I couldn't finish the first episode. I didn't find one thing funny with it.

I really don't know why I found the need to pick up more TV shows when I already have too many shows that I like. Oh well.

Feel like someone took a bottle brush and tried to clean out my throat it's so raw right now. I really should go to bed, as obviously I'm fighting a cold. I also need to get my foot looked after tomorrow, I hurt it somehow in Sept, and it would twinge when I first stood up and walked around, but then it would kinda go away...sometimes acting up when I was just sitting there. Now (I'm pretty sure I kicked something at the end of my bed one night), It it hurts constantly, and I wince at the thought of stepping on it...I'll survive though.

I may just spend the day cuddled up in bed watching tv while my laundry whirls away. Sounds like a excellent idea. (I have Wednesday, Thursday and Friday off this week, work the weekend).

I wanted to watch the Good Wife but for some reason the air time never worked in my schedule and if it doesn't actually fit in my schedule when it airs, I've just learned to avoid watching because I'm perpetually behind on episodes. I just remembered I'm watching the Apprentice (as DVR'd, kind of...because it violates my policy above and totally proves it at the same time because I'm 2 episodes behind...).

Ugh...there is nothing worse than being sick. Staying in bed all day sounds like the perfect idea. I'm kind of jealous of that right now, to be honest!

Sounds like you definitely need to see someone about your foot. That's just no fun :( My best advice: Ice Packs...I'm convinced they are curative in some cases. Maybe not this one, because it sounds really uncomfortable and like there really is something wrong. But maybe it will ease your pain a little?

I can not watch shows out of sequence, rarely do I watch a show at random and then start picking it up. Though my first episode of Grey's was 3.04 when Meredith is high on Morphine. I only caught a part of it and then my sister lent me season 1 and 2 and I got caught up on season 3 before it came back from hiatus in January. I watched it all in about 2 weeks.

It's weird but when I think about it almost all of my favorite shows are shows that I picked up mid season, or was recommended by someone else and watched over the summer.

Bones, Grey's Anatomy, Glee, The Good Wife, TBBT, and HIMYM were all shows that I didn't watch right from the beginning, but have now seen all of the episodes. In fact The Good Wife is the only one I don't own DVD's of.

It was weird, I felt fine all day yesterday, went into work felt fine, about 15 minutes later could feel my throat starting to close up with tightness. It's definitely a head cold, but other than a slightly stuffy nose, sore throat and a little sneezing I feel perfectly fine.
