IAO ART SHOW - BITING THE APPLE
Individual Artists of Oklahoma proudly presents Biting the Apple 2005, an annual erotic art exhibition and fundraiser. Keeping true to its history of prominent and sensual themes, this year is “Kama Sutra.” Following from last year’s innovative standards, this event will again run for two nights on Friday and Saturday, March 4th and 5th at the IAO Gallery, 811 N. Broadway, Oklahoma City, OK.
Friday (7-11 p.m.) is the opening party, which includes erotic poetry readings, a fashion show, and film and video screenings, along with other performance art. Saturday (7-11 p.m.) is the highly anticipated Fetish Ball, where the audience can dress to their own personal taste, fashion or fantasy. Look for artistically made costumes, eastern décor that fits the Kama Sutra theme, and local DJ’s (REL AND KELLY TRANCE)spinning dance tunes. Over 50 artists are expected to exhibit their art in a juried show of Oklahoman artists, and put them up for sale. Local restaurants will donate food, and there will also be a cash bar.
