i had an awesome week. i love spending the weekend with my best buddy lisa. the first day we went out to lunch and then hung out until she had to go to class. i went with her to see her crush.. lol. of course i didn't sit through chem class, but i left once i had seen him.. haha. i'm so proud of her for asking him out! way to go lisa! the best part ( Read more... )
Ah, it's been a year already? Time sure does fly as you get older. I hope Scott replies to your email! He may be a guy, but you did get an email from another guy this week, so perhaps it was a good omen and Scott will come through by sending you an email back. Even better would be if he could come online and talk to you there! *crosses fingers too*
Boys move so fast, don't they? Though, some girls tend to be in a hurry to get into a relationship at that age too. But I don't think it has anything to do with you or shows how your future situation will be. For one, he's only doing the things you have done, so there's no guarantee he will go to another level with this girl. If she's a great gal, then it'd be nice for him to have someone good for him though. The thing is, he's all new to the world of the opposite sex, whereas you are many years ahead of him on the learning scale of the opposite sex. You may not have had practice doing the actual dating part, but it's hard to do that part unless you have the right attitude and have matured enough to understand how to make a relationship work. Perhaps it would be easier on everyone if they didn't rush and just took their time learning how to create a strong relationship. When they don't, they sometimes have a lot of down moments when it comes to that first relationship. You, on the other hand, will have a solid first relationship because you are smart enough to nurture it, rather than take it for granted, and you know not to settle for less than you deserve.
