how time away can lead to productive work. Not that anything I saw inspired me in particular. In fact, I reprised work on a WIP -- a nonfiction project that is fully researched and fleshed out as an idea, but which needs me to finish my book proposal. So, today I spent four and a half hours (!) in Panera, working through some of the necessary sections for my proposal. I must still type and revise and revise and finish, but it's moving along, and that is a Very Good Thing.
It feels good to be making progress on something. Anything, really. Better yet, for most of the time I was in the company of
juliewinkler, who is in full-out revision mode on her kick-ass novel.
