Snow day
It's been a long day of snow today. Before it really got ugly, I managed to meet with my writing buddy, Angela De Groot, and managed a down draft of a snow-related poem. Then I drove to my sweetheart's house and back to fetch his snow boots while he was off teaching classes - totally worth it for me, since he insisted on doing all the shoveling this evening.
Sadly, the snow storm did not play nicely with my RA and fibro (and my meds weren't touching it), so like a proper Victorian lady, I took to my bed for the afternoon.
This evening, I managed to put together a pretty decent chicken pot pie -- excellent comfort food on a cold, snowy day. And there was a glass of wine. And my wonderful sweetheart.
Life? It's good.
