Some things related to kissing stories
First up, I read this awesome post by S. Jae-Jones entitled "Let's Talk About Sex(ual Tension)" earlier today, and man, is it a good one. It is, after all, all about the yearning.
Second, I read Tessa Gratton's most excellent short story "Three True Things" over at the Merry Sisters of Fate blog, and I am madly, deeply, swoonily in love with it (as happens to me once or twice a year with one of her short stories. I believe the last one to make me this week-kneed may have been another one involving kissing - last August's "Date with a Dragon-Slayer".
Third, I am now in Chapter 16 of my novel, out of 23. (This remains both a truth and a lie - it is actually the 18th chapter I've written, which means there will be 25 if no more additions turn up. Meanwhile, some of the chapters may need to be split further anyhow. But let's just stick with my original, delusional scheme and call it Chapter 16 for now, m'kay?) There will not be a significant kissing scene in this chapter, more's the pity. In fact, I believe there's only one of those remaining in the book. *heads off to re-read JJ's post about Sex(ual Tension).
