After the NESCBWI Conference concluded this afternoon, I rustled up the troops (a word which here means
angeladegroot and
writerjenn) and we drove off to Amherst, NH, for a quick cup of tea with my Aunt Martha. She sent us on our way with a house key, as she is wont to do. And thus it is that we find ourselves (yet again) in a lovely townhouse condo in Waterville Valley, New Hampshire.
On the way up the mountain, we saw a moose. A cow, not a bull. And she was just along the side of the road. We slowed enough to admire her as she ate, but kept on going, since moose have a reputation of being a tad dangerous. She was beautiful.
And now, we're here. And ready to eat a lovely salmon dinner. And then maybe a movie and bedtime. (I am BEAT!)
