Today's research
For lunch: Acorn squash, baked, then filled with brown sugar, cinnamon, pecans and butter. It was a tasty confection, but to be honest, I couldn't actually taste the squash all that much. I'll be trying a savory recipe with my other acorn squash later this week.
For dinner: a smoked sausage link and some red cabbage, cooked with apple, vinegar, water, brown sugar, caraway seeds, salt and pepper. It was a very tasty dinner. Quiet, since the kids are still away, but tasty.
And then I wrote a little something about turnips for the gnome project.
