Oh, I hope you post a pic of you in the lovely gown -- or rather, lovely you in the lovely gown :)

I will also be flipping back and forth...I wonder if S&S will fall on a spring break Sunday. Hm, I might have to look into that ;)

I don't even have the fabric yet, let alone the gown, but once I do, I'll definitely post. And S&S is a multi-evening event. And it's spectacular.

I assume you know these people: http://www.sensibility.com/pattern/regency.htm
Can they help with fabric?

I know their site. And they don't sell it, nor do they seem to have linkage for fabrics, really.

I'm ordering a different pattern, actually, but the ones you link to are pretty nice, and one of the major patternmakers (McCalls, Simplicity, etc.) has a version of their patterns as well.

Bath is nice. Even if you skip the roman era baths, I liked the city.

I am completely downcast! No Sense & Sensibility until the end of March???!!! I've already been telling myself to just hold on until next week because I am absolutely DYING to see this new version. (Reading the book right now) The previews are delicious. I have to wait a whole 'nother month? Aaaaahhhhh, I can't stand it!

btw-- Bath is beautiful. I was there last year. It's a spectacular city and the underground Roman baths are HUGE - I had no idea there was so much there.

One of my absolute favorite places in England is Warwick Castle. Breathtaking. I've been twice now. And Scotland is to die for.

You can still (at the moment) view it on YouTube if you really, truly cannot wait. And I am envious of your England trips. Hubby and I are just hoping the dollar will strengthen to make it less cost-prohibitive.
